
Today, we’re going to enter into the somewhat controversial world of public art on campus. Patrick Dougherty’s new installation outside the Center for the Arts might be just the thing to get students to start interacting with – and not complaining about – the art around them. Also, we’ll hear from Emily Mitchell, a Middlebury Alumna and Breadloaf School celebrity who just published her first novel The Last Summer of the World. Kathryn Flagg, editor-in-chief of the Middlebury Campus and celebrity in her own right, spoke with Mitchell about writing the novel.
